2018 Australian Mathematics Competition

The Australian Mathematics Competition will be held on Thursday 9 August 2018.

This year, at Marsden High School we expect students in the following classes to participate:       

Year 7: All classes

Year 8: 8M1 and 8M2

Year9: 9M1 and 9M2

Year 10: 10M1 and 10M2

Year 11: 11M1, 11M2, 11M3 and 11M4

Year 12: 12M1 and 12M2.

Other students with a special interest in Mathematics should also enter.

The cost of entry this year is $6.50. All students entering the competition will need to pay this amount at the front office by Thursday 31 May, 2018.  

This competition has run every year since 1978 and is now a significant international event. It provides an excellent opportunity for our students to display their expertise in a wide range of problem-solving activities.
