Tuesday Afternoon Sport Update

Sport Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

Tuesday afternoon is the designated sport afternoon for Years 8-10 (Yrs 11 and 12 have the option of playing grade sport). Sport is a compulsory part of the school curriculum for all students in Years 8-10.The Sports Organiser – Ms Mirabito, is responsible for the weekly organisation of sport and all inquiries should be directed to the Sports Organiser.

Students participate in a range of sports throughout the year which may include travel off-site or activities on-site. Sport is categorised as Grade (playing other schools in the Northern Suburbs Zone) or Social (non-competitive). Costs are associated with most sports and are charged on a seasonal basis. These details are outlined in School Bytes online. Some sports are free of charge and are conducted on the school premises or local community venues. All students return to Marsden High School at the conclusion of sport. Students will be dismissed from school from 2.30pm. Supervision will be provided for students remaining at school to catch school buses.
