Dear Parents and Carers;
I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Marsden High School community as parents of Year 7 students. For many of you, this is your first experience with Marsden High School and transitioning your child into high school.
I hope your son, daughter or child in care had a great first week transitioning into high school and is not on information overload. The peer support ‘transitioning into high school’ program continues this week. Sarah van der Kley, the Year Adviser has organised a fabulous program which helps new Year 7 students familiarise themselves with the changes they are facing. Your children are in fantastic care under the guidance of Sarah.
Our website has updated information on school events and our first newsletter will be emailed in the next few weeks. If you haven’t already, join up to our school APP and our Facebook page.
I would like to emphasise I am available always for any concerns you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me on the school number or via the school email address, if there is anything your child or you are worried about.
This is a wonderful school with fantastic and dedicated teaching and support staff, so your child is in great hands.
