Enrolment

Our school can help with enrolment queries throughout the year.

Local enrolment area

Most schools have designated local enrolment areas. The School Finder shows our local enrolment area. Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.

How to enrol

Contact us when you’re ready to enrol your child in our school. You may need to attend an interview with the principal. There you can discuss any medical conditions or other special circumstances before your child starts school. We may also complete a risk assessment on the enrolment.

For more information, visit high school enrolment.

Download an application to enrol (PDF 5.9MB).

The application form must be completed in English. However, a translated application to enrol may help you to fill out the form in English.

Non-local enrolments

As outlined in the department’s enrolment policy, our school may accept enrolments from outside our local enrolment area if places are available.

We will assess applications for non-local enrolment on a case-by-case basis.

The Pinnacle Program

The Pinnacle Program is a Year 7 and Year 8 program that offers extension activities to high achieving and high potential students.

We care about each of the students enrolled at our school and set out to nurture them and prepare them for the wider world. With this is mind, the Pinnacle Program was created to extend and challenge high potential students in order to maximise their learning outcomes. Our goal is to prepare students for the future by giving them the skills they need, e.g., critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, life and career skills, media literacy and technology skills.

All staff have been trained to differentiate programs to enrich student learning via project-based learning. In addition, teachers of Pinnacle classes undertake collaborative professional learning to ensure current research is embedded into teaching and learning programs.

It is critical that high potential students be given appropriate opportunity, stimulation and experiences to develop their potential. Our program offers these opportunities across subject areas.

If your child is interested in applying for this program, please fill out the Pinnacle Program application form (PDF 1.7MB)

Temporary visas and international students

For information about eligibility and forms to complete, visit the Temporary Residents Program.

Distance education

Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.

Distance education schools also provide single subjects for students in Years 9 to 12 to enhance curriculum choice. Please contact us for details.
