Marsden HS expected to be non operational Monday 10 February

Dear Parents and Carers,

At this stage Marsden High School will not be operational tomorrow.

As at 7pm Sunday 9 February, the current storm pattern has affected power connection to the school and surrounding streets and there is no re-connection timeline.

There will be no supervision available and students are required to stay away from the site until power is restored. 

There is flooding to parts of the school site and some areas may not be safe.

If power is returned to the site overnight I will update the community no later than 6:30am via Facebook, Instagram and Enews. If this occurs, the school will operate as normal with some disruptions to rooming, access around parts of the school and canteen services. If no update is provided, the school will remain non operational.

We still plan to hold the Year 10 and Year 11 Subject Information sessions tomorrow evening and will make a determination on these events by 1:30pm Monday 10 February. We will communicate this information also by Facebook, Instagram and Enews.
